Biography[]
In the original timeline, Henry Wallace marries Carolyn Preston. According to both, it was love at first sight. They have a daughter named Amy Preston. Henry also raised Carolyn's other daughter, Lucy, who believed that Henry was her father growing up. Wallace got Carolyn to start smoking, causing Carolyn to become gravely ill with lung cancer. After the Hindenburg disaster is prevented, the timeline is altered: Henry and Carolyn never meet, and Amy was never born. Henry instead marries Elizabeth Merrick, granddaughter of Hindenburg survivor Irene Doehner.
