In the original timeline, Matilde Doehner survived the Hindenburg disaster, but her husband, Hermann Doehner, and her daughter, Irene Doehner, did not.
In the altered timeline, Hermann and Irene survive. Irene goes on to marry Stratton Hicks. Matilde becomes the grandmother of their daughter, Sarah Hicks, and the great-grandmother of Sarah Hicks' daughter, Elizabeth Merrick.
